If there has ever been a "good" time for a conservative, health conscious, money conscious, American loving, social butterfly to worry, it's now. Let's just say that the theories are true- COVID was created in a lab and President Biden was elected based upon false and illegal means. That still doesn't change the fact that we have COVID and Joe Biden is our President. So my question remains, as a Christian, why are you so worried?
The Apostle Paul states in Colossians 1:16:
For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones, or dominions, or rulers, or authorities—all things have been created through Him and for Him.
Did you catch that? Paul says that everything under the sun, and beyond, was created by Christ. Ultimately, evil is the by-product of something that Christ created. A statement that bold certainly warrants an explanation.
When Paul says "whether thrones, or dominions, or rulers, or authorities" he is referring to the spiritual realm. Christ not only created all things visible, He created all things invisible. Paul says that all things were not only created by Him, they were created FOR Him. Ultimately, Satan and the demons will bring God glory.
Let me explain... Lucifer and the angels were created with a free-will. Lucifer, as well as 1/3 of the angels, decided to reject God and trust in themselves. As a result, God cast Lucifer and 1/3 of the angels out of even. The choice of pride on behalf of Lucifer and the Angels brought about evil. God did not create evil and God does not do evil, evil is the absence of good. It's like a hole in the ground. A hole exists due to the absence of dirt. If there was dirt, then there would be no hole.
God uses evil to bring about good. Again, let me be abundantly clear, God does not commit evil. God is Holy and evil is not part of God's character. God allows evil in order to bring about good- this speaks to God's sovereignty. It was evil that ultimately put Christ on the cross and Christ's death on the cross and resurrection is what ultimately saves mankind. This ultimately brings God glory. It is true then, evil is used by God to bring Him glory. This is why Joseph says to his brothers in Genesis 50:20:
As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good in order to bring about this present result, to keep many people alive.
As we bring this into our day today, God is allowing everything to take place ultimately for His glory. Again, God is not the author of the evil and the unrighteousness that we are experiencing, but according to God's Sovereignty, nothing is taking place without His permission. Christian, you don't have to worry. Eventually, all of this evil and all of this injustice will bring God glory. We don't know when. When don't know how. But we know it will. So rather than losing sleep at night, keeping serving God and keep trusting in Him.
As Paul says in Colossians 1:17: He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. God literally has everything under His control. Let's stop worrying about tomorrow and let's keep faithfully trusting God today.
